演 讲 者：Lu Chen, MD, PhD

演讲者简介：Lu Chen,graduated from Shandong Medical University and received her ophthalmology residency training at Shandong Eye Institute & Hospital in China. She then obtained her PhD in Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences from University of Louisville, Kentucky, followed by postdoctoral training at Schepens Eye Research Institute,and Department of Ophthalmology, Harvard Medical School, where she was later promoted to the junior faculty positions of Investigator and Instructor, respectively. Dr. Chen was subsequently recruited to the University of California Berkeley,as an Assistant Professor and Morton D Sarver Endowed Chair where she is now a full Professor with tenure. She also holds joint appointments at the Proctor Foundation for Research in Ophthalmology at University of California San Francisco, and Schepens Eye Research Institute, Mass Eye and Ear, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Chen is a recipient of many awards, including Harvard Scholars in Medicine and Translational Research Award from Department of Defense of the United States. Results from her work have been published in high impact journals and she has been an invited speaker at many national and international conferences.
