厦门大学讲座教授,纽约州立大学(State University of New York)视光学院普通药理学和生物科学教授,哥伦比亚大学(ColumbiaUniversity)眼科客座教授,生理和细胞生物学客座教授。现任纽约 州立大学视光学院生理和药理系主席,美国视觉和眼科研究学会程序计划委员会成员,基础研究评审委员会成员,教工任命和提升委员会成员,屈光手术安全评估委 员会(AIBS)AED CSRA成员,Wakamoto 制药厂科学顾问,NIH小型企业基金评审委员会SBRN-4 成员,美国生物科学研究院专门研究组成员,军队屈光手术评估委员会成员,实验生物和医学进展杂志编辑委员会成员,日本参天制药株式会社科学顾问委员会成 员,日本Wakamoto 制药株式会社科学顾问。长期从事角膜生理学研究,在角膜上皮细胞信号传导通路及离子通道研究方面卓有建树,在国际知名杂志发表论文100余篇。
