教育背景:
1978-1983 江西医学院(现南昌大学医学院)获医学学士学位;
1983-1986 中国医学科学院、协和医学院研究生院获药理学专业硕士学位;
1989-1992 日本东京大学获药理学专业博士学位。
 
主要工作经历:
       多年从事医学研究工作,有在国内外知名大学及科研院所工作经验:如美国约翰斯霍普金斯大学医学院、美国纽约大学、加拿大多伦多大学、中国医学科学院。2008年全职回国加入厦门大学医学院,厦门大学眼科研究所。近年来发表了近二十篇与眼科学有关的SCI收录论文,包括Stem Cells,Diabetes,IOVS等高水平杂志, 并是British Journal of Pharmacology, IOVS等有影响力杂志的评审人。为中国生物医学工程学会组织工程与再生医学分会委员。以课题负责人获得资助的科研项目有国家自然科学基金面上项目,国家高科技计划(863计划)重点项目子课题等。
       在教学方面,承担本科生及研究生主要的课程有药理学、高等药理学、机能学、医学英语、英语会话以及留学生教学等。
 
主要研究领域:
1、信号转导通路与眼部有关疾病发病机理以及治疗靶点的研究。
2、眼部抗新生血管、抗炎、抗过氧化药物的探索。
3、眼部干细胞有关特性的研究。
